About These Sets

The colour selection in both sets is built from traditional watercolour technique colours — chosen so they mix cleanly and predictably into a wide range of new shades. Most paints in the set are single-pigment, which is exactly what matters when you're learning to mix: you see how colours actually behave together, not how a multi-pigment shortcut behaves.

High-quality pigments combined with a natural plant-based binder and gum arabic guarantee colour purity and easy application — each colour has a wide working range, from saturated in a dense layer to airy and transparent when diluted. After drying, the paint forms a matte colour layer, giving finished work a quiet, atmospheric quality that many watercolourists prefer for sketches and studies.

Both sets come in a compact, durable cardboard box with a blister insert — pans sit securely in their own slots, taking up minimal space on a desk or in a bag.
