It is a professional-grade metal palette case, made in Ukraine, that arrives empty and waiting — you fill it with your own full pans or half pans, in your own order, in your own colour logic.

Two sizes. The 21 full pan case is a genuinely pocketable travel palette that still gives you a serious working range. The 35 full pan case is a studio-grade palette that folds down small enough to live in a rucksack. Both come in a deep, saturated red — a finish you will not find on the standard turquoise and indigo tins stocked by most UK art shops.

ROSA specifies an off-white with no added shade, because a snow-white enamel throws glare back at you in direct sunlight and quietly shifts how you read every wash you mix. Yes. The case is designed around ROSA full pans and half pans, but takes standard pans from most manufacturers. Note that non-ROSA pans occasionally vary by a millimetre or two, so a case may hold slightly fewer than its rated count.

Can I use half pans instead?

Yes — the 21 pan case takes up to 42 half pans and the 35 pan case up to 70. You can also mix full and half pans in the same case.

Do the pans fall out when it is closed and carried?

No. Pans lock into a central catch and hold firm even when the case is inverted.

Which size should I choose?
